The fourth floor lab is the base of operations for the chemical division of the Kerr Lab. The lab is well-equipped, with two top-of-the-line HPLC machines, a Gene-Vac, Combi-Flash, fumehood, two refrigerators, and plenty of bench space. The lab also has a built-in office area, with desk space for a communal computer and several individual work spaces. Please see below for views of the lab space. |

 Our Waters HPLC system features a manual injector, a binary HPLC pump, dual channel UV/Visible detector, and an Evaporative Light Scattering Detector (ELSD). It can be used both for analytical and semi-preparative separations.

 Our Thermo HPLC system features a Finnigan Surveyor Autosampler Plus, LC Pump Plus, and PDA Plus detector. It also inlcludes a SEDEX 60 LT Evaporative Light Scattering Detector. The system is designed for both analytical and semi-preparative separations.

Designed specifically for use in drug discovery, the GeneVac EZ-2 Plus is capable of evaporating all commonly used solvents and most acids quickly and effectively.

The latest model in medium-pressure chromatography from Teledyne Isco, the CombiFlash RF is compact and user-friendly. The system is equipped with radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to allow for automation of parameters for purification and fraction collection.
