Research Interests:.jpg)
Discovery of novel bioactive molecules from fungal sources. Contributing as a part of an on going effort to isolate bioactive metabolites from microbes derived from marine samples. By testing culture fermentation extracts against a variety of antimicrobial and antiproliferative assays, compound purification is carried out by bioassay guided fractionation and subsequent structure elucidation of active compounds. Current research efforts focused on the application of protein fingerprinting for use as an identification and dereplication tool.
