The guardian (PEI): "PElizabeth Barrett of Charlottetown, who received her doctor of veterinary medicine degree in the morning, urged her fellow graduates to “be proud of what you’ve achieved, do what you love and if given the chance, be a mentor.”
Kelsey Moore, who was awarded her honours bachelor of arts degree in the afternoon, encouraged them to be “people of progress, change and initiative” and to do “what makes them come alive.”
Plenty of academic hardware was handed out with the prestigious Governor General’s Medal (graduate) awarded to Saskia Hart. Adam Pound counted the Governor General’s Medal (undergraduate) among an impressive haul that also included the Polyclinic Prize and the Ambrose Lee Prize."
